Wow, hard to believe that in the 6 weeks since my introduction post I've accomplished so little in terms of hobbying! I decided it was time to rectify the issue and finally base the Napoleonic British I completed a few weeks ago. I had been delayed up till now by a lack of flock that I thought blended well with the bases but a quick trip to the World War Scenics webstore sorted that. The primary flock used is their 2mm Dead, and the tufts of flock scattered about are by a company called "Gamers Grass", top stuff!
I started this project back at the beginning of the year and have slowly been plodding along with it in between other ventures. My father's almost finished his opposing French so we should be good to start gaming with them as soon as I paint up a bit more scenery. The miniatures are by Front Rank and are hands down the most incredible sculpts I've come across for the period, I couldn't recommend them highly enough. Enjoy the photos!

Not another one!
Ah yes, yet another wargaming blog comes into existence! It would appear that in recent years there has been an influx of people choosing to use blogs as a way to share their hobby experience in an attempt to inspire others, so why don't I join them!
Wargaming has played a large role in my life since I picked it up nearly six years ago now, and I seem to be subject to the same development with it as the majority of other people. It all started with Games Workshop rather unsurprisingly, but it would appear that I have since become disillusioned with such corporate monstrosities (hyperbole of course) and become rather more fond of historical wargaming, a sort of enlightenment with it, if you will :D
This blog will act both as a medium through which I can share my projects, and (hopefully!) as a way to enthuse me enough to finally finish some of said projects. I imagine I will also be sharing a number of my Father's works, a man who is just as barmy and taken with collecting lead soldiers as I am!
I hope you enjoy the content I post, and although I intend for the upload schedule to be rather irregular, it should be enough to keep me busy in my spare time!
